Tile Industry Show Total Solutions Starts Saturday

San Antonio, TX, Oct. 21, 2014 — Ceramic tile industry Total Solutions Plus is set for Oct. 25-28 in San Antonio.

The show has an extensive lineup of speakers.

Scott McKain has been recognized by Social Media Marketing Magazine as one of the 50 most influential marketing authors on Twitter. He has been a commentator on FOX News to discuss business, politics, and American culture.

Eric Astrachan, executive director of the Tile Council of North America, will provide an overview of the breadth of tiles available in the market today, especially in terms of thickness and strength. He will discuss this from an industry-wide perspective, explaining how thin tiles are different from conventional tiles in more than just thickness, and what those differences mean.

Comedian Frank Miles will give a unique presentation that focuses on helping people address the issues of change, fear, stress, and achieving goals. Frank Miles will use his many talents (magic, juggling, unicycling, acrobatics, music, and even fire eating) to deliver a wildly entertaining and powerful keynote presentation.

A Specification Smack Down will include an architect, manufacturer, distributor, designer and contractor.

Shannon Vogel launched and drove one of the flooring industry’s most successful blogs and has since achieved certification as a Social Media Strategist. She is currently the director of Social Media for Creating Your Space where she works daily to strengthen the brand awareness of flooring dealers throughout the country.

Mike Clancy, internal practice leader with FMI, works with companies across the country to help them leverage their unique organizational resources and capabilities  to build competitive advantage. His key focus areas are developing corporate strategies and improving the work acquisition results of his contractor clients.
