In the News – AIA Billings Index September Rebound

“The Architecture Billings Index (ABI) returned to positive territory with a score of 53.7 after a slight dip in August, where it fell to 49.1, and has seen growth in six of the nine months of the year so far, according to the American Institute of Architects.

As a leading economic indicator of construction activity, the ABI reflects the approximate nine to twelve month lead time between architecture billings and construction spending.”
