In the News – Consumer Sentiment Rose 6.4% to 94.7 in May

Consumer sentiment rose to 94.7 in May, according to the final results from the University of Michigan’s Survey of Consumers.

This is a 6.4% increase from April’s 89.0, and a 4.4% increase over May 2015.

May’s final score is lower than the preliminary estimate of 95.8, which was released in mid-May.
