In the News – Coverings Changes Show Managment

Taffy will be responsible for producing the event’s exhibition and conference program, beginning with Coverings 2017 next April 4-7 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

Taffy succeeds National Trade Productions, which produced Coverings events from 2004 to this year’s edition in Chicago.

Taffy is a full-service trade show and management company focused on producing events that inspire audiences, create connections, and deliver results.

The new Coverings production company includes several people familiar to show exhibitors, including Jennifer Hoff, Taffy’s president. Hoff previously worked for NTP for 19 years as president of events and executive director of industry relations.

“We are delighted to team up with Coverings to help drive its goals and add value for the thousands of show exhibitors and attendees,” Hoff said. “We are looking forward to supporting the industry’s showcasing its truly remarkable tile and stone products, while also fostering business-building networking and education opportunities for today’s professionals.”

Coverings is a leading international trade fair and expo dedicated exclusively to showcasing the newest in ceramic tile and natural stone. This year’s Chicago edition drew 25,347 attendees, with 1,143 exhibitors utilizing 426,680 ft² of show floor.

The show is co-sponsored by Ceramics of Italy/Confindustria Ceramica, Tile Council of North America, Inc. (TCNA), Tile of Spain/the Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturer’s Association (ASCER), the Ceramic Tile Distributors Association (CTDA), and the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA).
